Dear Clients and Friends:
I hope you had a great holiday season with your loved ones, both Critter and human, and wish you all a safe and happy New Year! I would like to also thank you for the beautiful, thoughtful and inspirational cards and gifts I received over the holidays. I value your kindness and look forward to building upon our great relationships.
In fact, starting this year, I would like to keep you more informed of what’s happening with Critter Sitters. I aim to distribute a quarterly e-newsletter highlighting current news and events within the business; our canine community; and the wonderful experience that is my life. To do so, I will need an updated record of everyone’s email address. Would you please send me an email at sperotti@twcny.rr.com, so that I can save it to my client list? Thank you.
Friends, did you know Critter Sitters is now celebrating 5 years in business? Yes indeed: so many miles run; so many whipping tails and wagging tongues; so many great memories; and so many big dreams for the future!
Did you know that 2006 happens to be the Chinese Year, “Red Fire Dog”? According to ancient Chinese astrology: The Dog is a symbol of being clever, loyal, calm in crisis, sincere, and intuitive. In this year expect to see major change and success, understanding the Dog influences us to be cooperative, to work together. It also says that we may see a great awakening of collective consciousness, and greater willingness at international levels to begin considering what is good for all. Let us hope and pray!
BIG CRITTER NEWS!
1. My vacation schedule: I have made travel arrangements to visit London from March 10-19. I am hoping you can cover the pet sitting services for those dates.
2. In my spare time, I compete in Triathlons. As part of the Year of the Dog, I would love to see as many dogs attend my races as possible! So here is my race schedule:
April 30 - 10 mile Mountain Goat Run, Syracuse;
May 19 - 100 mile Missing Children’s Bike Ride, Oneida;
June 5 - The Down and Dirty Triathlon, Rochester;
June 18 - Green Lakes Triathlon, Fayetteville;
July 16 - New York City Triathlon, NYC and my 35th Birthday;
August 14 -Cazenovia Lake Triathlon, Cazenovia and;
September 3 - Skinnyman Triathlon, Skaneatelas.
3. As part of my fan club I am selling Critter Sitter gear for the big races. If anyone is interested in baseball hats, visors, or knit hats with the Critter Sitter name and logo, they are on sale for $15.00 each. In the spring I will have T-shirts and tank tops. It is time to talk the talk and walk the walk at Critter Sitters!
4. I am planning within the next year to move to a new house with a chunk of land to build a cozy kennel for your animals. Right now I am saving capital and working on the most important piece of the puzzle, the dreaded business plan.
5. The Critter Phone is my life. I answer it all the time; day, night, weekends, and holidays. I am a morning person, so I naturally go to bed early. The Critter phone will be on from 7 am - 6 pm Monday through Friday and then off for the night. On the weekends I will be available until noon each day and check my messages around 5 pm.
I am so thankful for your loyalty to Critter Sitters and hope my dreams of a house in the country with some land for a cozy kennel will further meet your pet sitting needs. It’s my mission to continue provide quality Critter Sitting and expand my business as smoothly as possible. I figure if I love what I do, I might as well do it out of my home.
I would like to thank you all for your business. I am in love with what I do and there is nothing more rewarding than that. Thanks for keeping me focused everyday of the year. Each and every animal I visit brings something new to my life. Have a great Year of the Dog!
Sincerely,
Stephanie Perotti
